There is an old idea that has been floating around for generations about career advice. It goes something like ‘go to college, get a job and retire’. December 20, 2011

Wanted Female DENTIST - NOVALICHES, SM FAIRVIEW AREA PREFERRED ...One could easily tell if a certain profession is lucrative or not by merely looking on the figures written in the paycheck, let’s take for instance the dentist salary. I have this notion that dentists usually get a very rewarding salary or package since they deal with the “needs” of their patients. And people definitely would find ways to exhaust funds to find a remedy to their dental problems. This is something “urgent” on their part, urgent in a sense that they will do anything for them to decipher their dental needs. If this is the reality, we could then conclude that dentistry has a practical side because it will absolutely strengthen the financial figures/remuneration of a person who is into this kind of profession. But let us not only focus our attention on the practical side of it, let us also bear in mind that the happiness of serving these individuals will definitely draw the difference.

I Want My Date to Go Well

November 27, 2011

I met this guy out the other night and we really connected. He told me that he is a financial analyst. I had no idea what a financial analyst did. We have another date next weekend and I do not want to seem like an idiot. I would also like to be able to hold an intelligent conversation with him about his job. So I searched for a post about financial analysts on the Internet. I found a web post that gave me a pretty good idea of what his job entails. It sounds a little boring in its minutia, and yet interesting. Sometimes he may have to travel to meet with company management. He has to keep up on a lot of information and then decide how it will affect the market or companies that he tracks. People will rely on him for his opinion. It also sounds like he has to work a lot of hours. I am glad I found that web post because at least I will be able to ask him intelligent questions about his career.
