Getting the Best Out of My HDTV

I just read that it is possible to calibrate the HDTV. A professional can do it effectively but it will cost a few hundred dollars. Paying a lot for getting a great set but seeing un-optimized images is a waste of money. A good calibration provides the perfect TV picture that is expected from the appliance.
